The core training content is the same for each campus, the only differences are the campus and local resources listed. It’s not necessary to complete another school’s program.

Yes, upon completion of the pre-test, full training content, and posttest, you will receive a certificate of completion. You can log back into the program at any time to revisit the content or recertify and receive an updated certificate.

If you are not associated with a college campus, you can complete our Missouri Ask. Listen. Refer. training, which is free and available to all Missourians. This training does not focus specifically on the college-age population and has broader information about the general population.

The Ask. Listen. Refer. Program was designed to help students, faculty, and staff prevent suicide by teaching you to:

  • Identify people at risk for suicide.
  • Recognize the risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs of suicide.
  • Respond to and get help for people at risk.
